K2 Flag Football Program (Grades K-2)

Youth participation in flag football is up nearly 40% since 2015, making it one of America’s fastest growing sports.

FYFC is proud to offer our K2 Flag Football Program that has been developed for athletes entering grades K-2 looking for an introduction to game of football. 

For many of you, this is your child’s first football “team”, and our goal is to make this experience a good one for them. We want our players to have fun, develop friendships, and come to LOVE football. Our program is designed to meet children at their developmental level and help them grow at their own pace. All they really need to be able to do at this point is know how to run... and they should have a successful and enjoyable season!

Program Goals

• Provide a fun and positive atmosphere for our players to make new friends and learn to love the game of football.
• Help our players develop life skills in leadership, teamwork, and work ethic.
  
• Develop a pipeline of players equipped to flourish in our advanced flag and youth tackle programs.

Practices

Please note that there will be no practice on the Monday after Labor Day or Monday of Columbus Day.

We will we partnering with Dick's House of Sport at Eastview Mall who will be hosting us on their turf under the lights for practices. Stay tuned for scheduling details after Labor Day weekend.

Equipment

Athletes will be supplied with flags and custom jerseys. Cleats and mouth guard are required. Athletic cup is optional.

Fall 2024 Registration Details

 Registration cost includes custom jersey that athletes will keep at the conclusion of the season.
